AFC-Holcroft's Universal Batch Temper (UBT) performs the most efficient, uniform process batch tempering possible.  Designed primarily as a companion unit with an in-and-out heat treating system, the UBT's built-in flexibility allows it to be used independently for other applications.

Features:

Rugged Construction:

Casing is steel plate formed, reinforced and welded.

Door:

Pneumatically operated and fiber insulated.  Specially designed for maximum sealing on fiber lined chambers.

Hearth Construction:

Features large diameter rollers.  Rugged dual roller rail provides improved circulation and flexibility.  Fits various tray designs and allows maximum compatibility with existing systems.

Heating System:

Both gas-fired and electrically-heated models available.

Furnace Lining:

Energy saving fiber on walls, roof and floor.  Brick or lined options available.

Recirculating Fan:

High volume wind flow for optimum temperature uniformity.

Atmosphere/Plunge Cool options:

Allow for increased flexibility.  Tight-sealing door and drop-in cooling radiator provide the ability to perform various heat treat cycles in an inert atmosphere.
