ChannelTherm is a new innovation in vacuum heat treat technology. It is primarily targeted for the continuous carburizing and/or hardening of higher alloy parts loaded in single or shallow layers and gas quenched in high velocity nitrogen at lower pressures. Like its vacuum siblings, it produces components free from surface and sub-surface oxidation.

In essence it’s the vacuum equivalent of a mesh belt furnace, but gone are flame effluents, oil quench tank pits and washing systems.
