Radiator Manufacturer Receives New Design CAAB® Furnace

High Temp Furnaces Ltd., Bangalore, India, under license from AFC-Holcroft, has recently shipped a new design CAAB® furnace to one of the largest radiator manufacturers in Mumbai, India.

The new design CAAB (Controlled Atmosphere Aluminum Brazing) furnace minimizes the electric power requirements during the brazing process. Preliminary calculations show the furnace is capable of significantly reducing electric power consumption compared to traditional CAAB design.

Janusz Kowalewski, Managing Director, AFC-Holcroft Asia stated, “The new furnace design is most attractive to large OEM manufacturers of heat exchangers because it minimizes the brazing cost and carbon footprint impact on the environment.”
